The Motoma M125-261 is a turnkey, utility-grade energy-storage cabinet that combines five high-voltage LiFePO₄ battery packs, a 125 kW bidirectional PCS, BMS, EMS, liquid chiller and all auxiliaries in one outdoor enclosure. With a usable battery capacity of 261.248 kWh and direct three-phase 400 V grid connection, it is ideal for commercial and industrial peak shaving, PV self-consumption, load shifting and backup power.

Key features

261 kWh LFP battery, long life

Uses LFP 3.2 V / 314 Ah cells configured as a high-voltage pack (832 V nominal; 728–936 V operating window) for high efficiency, excellent cycle life and intrinsic cell safety.

125 kW three-phase PCS

Integrated 125 kW inverter with 400 Vac output (360–440 Vac range), 180 A rated current and 50/60 Hz operation. Power factor >0.99 at rated power and fully adjustable from –1 (leading) to +1 (lagging) for grid-support applications.

Liquid-cooled, outdoor-ready cabinet

Smart liquid-cooling with temperature-controlled air ducts keeps cell temperatures uniform and stable, enabling reliable operation from roughly –20 to +45 °C (see datasheet limits). IP54 protection, C4 anti-corrosion grade and 0–95% RH (non-condensing) rating support demanding outdoor sites.

All-in-one system architecture

Includes PCS, BMS, EMS, control box and liquid chiller in a single cabinet to minimise design time, cabling and on-site integration effort. Recommended for up to two charge and two discharge cycles per day.

Safety & compliance

Equipped with aerosol-based fire-protection system, low THDi (<3% at rated power) and off-grid output voltage distortion <3% (linear load). Certified to major international ESS and grid-connection standards such as IEC62619, EN50549, VDE-AR-N-4105/4110/4120 and UN38.3 / UN3480 for transport.

Easy integration

Ethernet interface with Modbus TCP / IEC104 for integration into third-party EMS, SCADA or BMS platforms. Suitable for installations up to 3000 m altitude (with de-rating above 2000 m). Cabinet footprint approx. 1350 × 1326 mm with 2080 mm height; weight approx. 2490 kg.
