Victron EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250/100 GX

The EasySolar 48/5000/70 GX with built-in GX device and a 2 x 16 character display is a combination of a BlueSmart MPPT 250|100 solar charge controller, a powerful pure 5,000 VA sine wave inverter, an advanced 70 battery charger (48V) with adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact housing. The product is easy to install, with a minimum of wiring.

Victron EasySolar is an all-in-one solar power solution, consisting of the following components in one housing.

EasySolar inverter/charger: MultiPlus Compact 48/5000/50
The EasySolar-II 5000VA GX enables connection to CAN bus battery management systems, the VRM port portal for remote data monitoring via Ethernet or built-in WiFi, among other things enables ESS functionality. The MPPT charge controller and the MultiPlus inverter/charger share the DC battery cables via battery terminal M8 bolts. The batteries can be charged with solar energy (BlueSolar MPPT) and/or with alternating current (inverter/charger) via the electricity grid or a generator. The output has an interruption-free functionality. The EasySolar takes over the power supply of the connected loads in the event of a power failure or if shore/generator power is interrupted. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices can continue to function undisturbed.

EasySolar solar charge controller: Smart Solar MPPT 250/100
The integral MPPT has the input voltage of 250V, which gives great flexibility in choosing solar panel configurations. In addition, because the MPPT is Victron Smart, there is all the usual VictronConnect App functionality. The PV connection for the PV panels consists of two M6 bolts.n.

GX panel
The GX suffix indicates that a GX device for control and monitoring is built-in. A GX device is usually a standalone device such as a Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX or a CANvu GX - but in this case it is a new integrated GX device already connected to the internal multiplus-II and MPPT charge controller.

display
A 2 x 16 character screen is a two line display that shows what the unit is doing and can also display a detailed error code if relevant.

Power Assist
The unique PowerAssist technology protects the device or generator power supply against overload by adding extra inverter power when necessary.

Unique software for solar energy application
Several software programs (assistants) are available for configuring the system for both grid interactive systems and standalone applications.

Parallel or three phases
For parallel or three phase operation with the EasySolar-II 5000VA GX, only one GX device can be used. In fact, one GX device is sufficient and therefore it does not make sense to install three EasySolar-II 5000VA GX devices in a parallel or three-phase installation. Instead, in addition to the EasySolar-II GX device, two normal MultiPlus-IIs can be installed.
